Why Jean Jacques Machado Jiujitsu?
We are incredibly lucky to have multiple Black Belt instructors certified by the world famous BJJ Master Jean Jacques Machado. Master Jean Jacques Machado has the rare rank of 7th degree Coral Belt (black/red) received from Master Rickson Gracie. In this class you will learn the Brazilian art of ground grappling. There will be both the use of the Gi and no Gi.
BJJ includes choking, various locks of the arms/legs, takedowns, and various elements of self-defense. It also helps someone learn how to control a larger and sometimes stronger individual on the ground. This is an enjoyable way to train safely, while learning effective techniques.
In addition, this class is an incredible way to stay in shape with constant movement. It is for beginner to advanced levels.
